Oh. About ME?!
theater kid Spiced with science and fantasy
I come from a military family and spent most of my growing years living around the world absorbing influences and using my art and creativity as a way to build community around myself. I lived my early years with an attitude and style stolen directly from Ash Ketchum in Pokemon and I did try to catch it all. I love stories that can go to wild, whimsical and unique places while staying grounded with thought-out characters and real lessons. I have an enthusiasm for creative expression whether it's through theater, gaming, animating, or just to encourage someone's weird idea. My favorite films (at the moment) are Luca, Lilo and Stitch and Everything Everywhere All at once. My current favorite hobbies are bowling, Dungeons & Dragons and playing Piano.
Twenty-ish years later, not much has changed except that I spend more time traveling worlds of my own creation and the art is much much better. I'm currently a freelance artist living around Washington DC working on creating art for a revolutionary civil rights project that tells untold civil rights stories of the district centered at the O Museum in the Mansion. Before this I studied and practiced direct marketing as part of a team at inspire Entrepreneurship academy where I learned how to lead and guide people in a business, but more importantly I helped inspire people to help charities. One of my favorite parts of this job was daily interacting with strangers and hearing them share the interesting details of their lives. I am a 2020 Graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in Animation and a minor in Sequential Art.
